SIX°NORTH REBRAND | PROJECT MANAGER + DESIGN [APRIL 2021]

I recently completed work on a large, full product rebrand project for award winning Scottish craft brewery, Six°North. The purpose of the rebrand was to introduce the product to a new wave of beer drinkers whilst also appealing to the brand’s existing customer base.

I worked closely with the client to understand their vision and the evolution of their brand. They required a fresh, new presentation of their product but it was essential to recognise previous branding iterations and pay tribute to them within the scope of the project.

The rebrand concept was mindfully created to reflect Six°North’s ‘New World x Old World’ approach to brewing. I project managed the rebrand from the initial client brief, right through to the delivery of production assets, interfacing with all relevant parties & suppliers throughout the entire process. I was also heavily involved in a design capacity, drawing inspiration from various subject matter including the Bauhaus movement to create a family of striking and modern beers.

The rebrand launched at retailers (including Sainsbury’s & Morrisons) across the nation in April 2021 and has already been hailed as a huge success for Six°North, giving the brand more visibility in a crowded market and ultimately gaining more thirsty customers.
